The Mixed Material Exhibition of Near East University Atatürk Faculty of Education attracted a lot of attention

Near East University Atatürk Faculty of Education and Departments of Pre-School Teaching, Teaching Geography, Turkish Language Teaching, and Primary School Mathematics Teaching, all functioning under the body of Vocational School of Health Services and Department of Child Development jointly held a Mixed Materials Exhibition.

Led by Specialst Şebnem Güldal Kan, the exhibition was held at Atatürk Faculty of Education Centre of Fine Arts and it was pointed out that the exhibition was held to inform the candidate teachers of the materials which they can make use of in their future career lives.

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, Dean of Atatürk Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Mirici; Vice Deans, Assoc. Prof. D.r Yağmur Çerkez and Assist. Prof. Dr. Umut Akçıl; Acting Chair of Department of Primary Education, Assist. Prof. Dr. Engin Baysen, Acting Chair of Department of Pre-School, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ezgi Ulu; Head of Department of Geography Teaching, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şeniz Şensoy; Head of Department of Turkish Language Teaching, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Güneyli; Head of Department of Primary School Mathematics Teaching Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Tezer and Coordinator of Department of Child Development Dr. Didem İşlek; Principal of Near East Junior College, Hasan Yükselen; Vice Principals of Near East Junior College İzzet Yılmaz and Mehmet Süleymanoğlu; and many other academic members and students of Near East University attended the exhibition.

An Enlightening Event…
Making a statement on the matter, Specialist Şebnem Güldal Kan stated that this exhibition was an enlightening event as it was an opportunity for candidate teachers to discover and learn about materials which they will be making use of in their future career lives. She added that the exhibition was not only beneficial and fulfilling for candidate teachers but also fruitful for the current teachers continuing their profession; providing them new ideas and prompt them to develop themselves further.
