In order to provide forum for scholars and keynote lecturers to address scientific issues, to present their scientific studies and promote the scientific studies for new discoveries, Near East University organized Conference Series on ‘100 Reasons to Do Science’. Scheduled to host Top100 Turkish Scientists from all around the world, the Conference Series hosted Professor Ahmet Murat TEKALP as the keynote speaker of the third forum. Prof. Dr. TEKALP has carried out significant scientific studies on Digital Image and Video Processing so far and his publications are among the most cited scientific studies.

Within NEU’s fundamental objective and innovative approach towards transforming the society via education and scholar research, the third forum of the Conference Series on ‘100 Reasons to Do Science’ was realized with the participation of Prof. Dr. Murat TEKALP, one of the forerunners of the scientific studies on signal proccessing, and digital image and video proccessing.

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of Near East University, the third forum of the Conference Series was held at Near East University Hospital Conference Hall 101. He also touched upon the crucial role of traffic engineering in optimizing the performance of a telecommunications network by dynamically analyzing, predicting and regulating the behavior of data transmitted over that network.

The Conferrence attracted intensive interest

At the end of his presentation, Professor TEKALP answered the respective questions directed to him and extended his appreciations to NEU Rectorate, faculty members and students for their intense interest in the conference. Near East University vice Rector Assoc.
