Near East University Women’s Basketball Team is competing against Mersin Büyükşehir Belediyesi

In the 24th week of the Bilyoner.com Women’s Basketball League, Near East University Women’s Basketball Team will be competing against Mersin Büyükşehir Belediyesi (Municipality) Women’s Basketball Team on Saturday, 26th March 2016 at 14:00. It was revealed that the match will be live streamed from TRT Sports channel.

Making a statement to the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, Near East University Women’s Basketball Coach İlker Gözeneli, and team members Asena Yalçın and Tiffany expressed that the match to be played against Mersin Büyükşehir Belediyesi would be taking place on Saturday, 26th March, 2016.

İlker Gözeneli: “Our last three matches to be played are each as significant as a final match…”

Making an evaluation of the current status before the match to be played against Mersin Büyükşehir Belediyesi, Near East University Women’s Basketball Team Coach, İlker Gözeneli, stated that the last three matches to be played were each as significant as a final match. He further stated that the last few matches of the league was being played and as a team, they had three more matches to play. He emphasised that Büyükşehir Belediyesi was a strong opponent but that they were ready to do all they can to win all three matches.

Asena Yalçın: “We aim to do 3 triumphs out of 3 matches! ”

A member of the Near East University Women’s Basketball Team, Asena Yalçın, said that the team had completed preparations for the matches and that they were ready to win 3 triumphs out of the 3 last matches to be played. She further expressed that they were aware that their opponent was rather strong but that they had prepared accordingly.

Tiffany Hayes: "We are ready to strive for triumphs!”

Also a member of the Near East University Women’s Basketball Team, Tiffany Hayes made a statement and expressed that the team had been preparing for the matches in a disciplined manner. She stressed that they were determined to win all three matches to be played before the completion of the league. She assured that the team was fully ready to strive to win triumphs at the last three matches to be played!
