Near East University Innovation and Information Technologies Centre, which is the foundation of the Near East University Techno Park and the centre of research and development and innovation activities, was established in 2007.
The Near East University implements the 4th Generation University Model with the aim of increasing its scientific contributions to industry and society, producing science for the society, spreading its studies to other parts of the society, and developing its projects in a way that will contribute to the society. It attaches great importance to research based on its aim of constructing, conducting, managing and supporting research that will increase the production of qualified science in order to raise the standards of living and enhance the sustainability of the Earth and all living things on it within the framework of local and universal needs.
The Supercomputer, Robot Football Team, RA25-RA27 Solar Powered Cars, Near East University Development Zone NERITA, green energy and biotechnology projects used in the "God Particle" research, which was implemented in our university and called the "experiment of the century" by CERN, the European Nuclear Research Centre, respirator, artificial vein and ear studies and wearable health technology projects are the results of this approach.
