Prof. Dr. Şerife ZİHNİ EYÜPOĞLU

Şerife Zihni Eyüpoğlu was born in Jersey, Channel Islands, in 1969. She received her BA and MBA degrees in Business Administration from the Eastern Mediterranean University, Famagusta, North Cyprus, in the years 1990 and 1992, respectively. She received her Ph.D. degree in Management and Organization from the Near East University, Nicosia, North Cyprus, in 2004. She started teaching at Near East University in 1992 as a part-time instructor and became a full-time member of staff at the Department of Business Administration in 1993. In 2005, she established the Department of Human Resource Management at the Near East University. In the same year, she became an assistant professor at the Department of Business Administration. In 2008, she was appointed Chair of the Department of Business Administration and became an associate professor in 2012. In 2017, she became a full professor and was appointed Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at the Near East University. Her research interests include human resource management, job satisfaction, organizational citizenship behavior, and leadership. She has many internationally published and proceeding articles and has been reviewed for various international journals. She is married and has two children.
