The “TRNC Student Placement and Scholarship Ranking Exam”, which will be administered by Near East University for the 2024-2025 academic year, will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 10.00. The exam will be carried out in a single session on the Near East University campus.
The TRNC citizen students and students who have completed the last four years of their education life in the TRNC can apply for the exam. According to the exam results, students will have the right to choose and be placed in 225 undergraduate and associate degree programs in 20 faculties, 3 colleges and 2 vocational schools of Near East University.
Deadline for application, May 24, 2024
Students who will study at the Near East University’s 2024-2025 academic year must register to the “TRNC Student Placement and Scholarship Ranking Exam” by Friday, May 24, 2024 at the latest.
After the exam, the applicants will have the opportunity to choose three different departments. The placement process will be made among the departments preferred by the student according to the exam results. In addition, all students who graduate from a college or are eligible to graduate will be able to enroll in all departments of Near East University with exam result documents such as GCE A’Level, GCE AS Level, IGCSE-GCSE O’Level, SAT, ACT.
Required documents for the exam
TRNC citizen students will be able to register at the Near East University Registrar’s Office with a photocopy of their TRNC ID card and 1 passport size photograph along with the exam application form. Students who are citizens of other countries will be able to register with the exam application form along with a photocopy of their identity card, 1 photograph and a document proving that they have completed 4 years of uninterrupted high school education at any educational institution in the TRNC.
