In the CMS group, there are about 2000 physicists and engineers from 137 countries and 155 institutions have been contributing to the project."

Prof. Dr. Şanlıdağ; "From the science, innovation and technology to be produced by universities, our society will win locally and our civilization will win globally..."
Prof. Dr. Şanlıdağ; “As a result, it should not be forgotten that our society will locally win and our civilization will globally win from the science, innovation and technology produced by universities. We carry out this long and arduous journey with the support and guidance of each member of Günsel family. There is faith, perseverance, production, unity, and most importantly, a large family. I would like to thank them once again and salute you with the happiness of sharing these feelings together and offer my deepest respect.”

Artist Hakan Daloğlu depicts life and death in his artworks...
Artist Hakan Daloğlu said that he tells the story of life and death in his works, that many of his works had a 10-year history and that they came to the TRNC and held a solo exhibition together with what he has done so far. Artist Daloğlu said that his first painting teacher, architect, sculptor and artist Mükremin Mungan recently passed away and that he was sad for not to be able to bid farewell to him in his last journey, and that this exhibition is dedicated to Mükremin Mungan.

"When our biological life is over, there will be Cyprus Museum of Modern Art that will keep us alive...”
Artist Daloğlu continued his speech with the saying of painting and sculptor Mungan “When the biological life of the artist ends, the real-life begins.“ Daloğlu said “Because there is great immortality and small immortality, you will live as your families know you, but when they all disappear, it is small immortality. But Kundela says, ”The great immortality is like Mozart, Beethoven, Picasso, who existed before you were born, and is remembered even after you lost your life. I was only 3 years old when I saw Picasso's last work. I had no chance to meet him, of course, I was just a little boy trying to walk. So, when I met him at the Metropolitan Museum at the age of 28, that great immortal reminded me my teacher's immortality. Of course, it's connected to a museum. When our biological life is over, it will be the Cyprus Museum of Modern Art that will keep us alive. Today, because we exist today, all of our artifacts and all our works are a victory against death. Because we leave them to the future, our artistic life will continue after our biological life. The Cyprus Museum of Modern Art exists for our immortality. It deserves a lot in it, and unconditionally giving everything of us to it indefinitely is nothing but declaring our own immortality. I do exhibit here my 275 works, but the rest will come. In my work, I tell you about Faust, there is Gallipoli, the evacuation of Gallipoli, and Troy. Faust describes Troy in the second part of his work which he wrote all his life before he died."

"Germans have a concern in their minds; they want to unite the ancient world, the medieval and the modern world. This is actually the first condition of modernity. Grandfathers, fathers, and sons have to get to know each other and this is the mind structure that will introduce them to themselves. Therefore, we need to connect the ancient world, the Middle Ages and the modern world. Gothe wanted it so much, I want it. Faust never ends. Because it tells the good and the bad in the human. Because there are both good and evil in human beings. Where there is good, good and evil are together. An evil will arise from good, and evil from evil. This universality is, therefore, a part of modern life, as this is a situation within every human being.”

"When you want the new, you must also protect the old. This is the first goal of the museum...”
Artist Daloğlu said, "In order to make the new, the old must be destroyed, but we also regret the destruction of the old, we want to keep it alive, but to make an omelet, it is necessary to break the egg, and the tragic situation in this necessity is to protect the old. This is the first goal of this museum, so this is a tragic situation to consider while fulfilling the goal. Going between these two is a duality. From Gothe's color theory to Faust, man has been in a dilemma between good and evil. If he wants to develop, he must destroy the past, and feel as much sadness as he does this.”

“Modern life‘ must be lived together by grandfathers, fathers and sons. I am sure that the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts will do this...”
"Great masters of the 19th century, such as Marx and Freud, felt this regret. But during the 20-21st centuries, grandfathers, fathers and sons do not know each other because they do destroy the past filled with radical models very quickly and do not even look back. Therefore, modern life requires this, and we need to live the modern life with ‘grandfathers, fathers and sons’ together. I am sure that the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts will do this, if I was not sure, I would not have produced so many works. For this, I would like to thank Founding Rector, his family, his family of academicians and those who take part in the museum. He concluded his speech with the words of Goethe; “Oh artist, just create, don't talk!"

Dr. Faiz Sucuoğlu; “Near East University has been the center of art”
Minister of Labor and Social Security Dr. Faiz Sucuoğlu in his speech stating that they listened to Mr. Daloğlu's speech with admiration, said; "Being an artist is not easy, it is not easy to find and bring such high quality, successful artists here. Near East University is the center of art. In my opinion, where many art exhibitions are held in many halls at the same time, art should be kept in the forefront and support should be given due to a situation that suits universities, especially ambitious universities.“

Artists visiting our country for Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts are above acceptable quality...”
I would like to express that we are very clearly aware that the artists who have been coming to our country for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Art and make their works here are above the average quality. I see this more clearly in every exhibition I attend. I believe that in the coming period we will have the opportunity to see the works of such distinguished artists and listen to them. First of all, I would like to thank the Founding Rector Suat Hoca and everyone who contributed.
