The 4th conference on Barrier Free Information Days, one of the most striking events in TRNC that focused on raising awareness on barrier free life, will take place at the Near East University on 19-20 December, 2016. The conference will provide platform for keynote and invitee speakers to deliver information and data regarding the accessibility of information in a barrier free environment for a barrier free life.

According to the press statement released by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of the Near East University, as it is every year, the event that sponsored by North Cyprus Turkcell and hosted by the Near East University will be realized under the organization of Center of Excellence-Social Research and Development Center, and Near East Institute.

Field experts and academics, representatives from non-governmental organizations, foundations, public institutions and organizations, platforms and associations including Barrier-Free Information Platform of Turkey will participate in the event.

The sessions to be held during the 4th Barrier Free Information Conference will provide platform for exchanging ideas and discussing many important issues ranging from sign language, mobile learning, technology, and employment opportunities for disabled people.

The first session will take place on Monday 19, December, 2016 at NEU Grand Library Hall 4. NEU Hospital Hall A-110 will be the venue of the second session on Tuesday 20, December, 2016.
