Students of the Near East University School of Physical Education achieve great success at the International Congress

It was revealed that undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Near East University made their mark at an international congress.

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, students of the Near East University School of Physical Education (BESYO) participated in the “9th International Student Congress of Participative Sports Sciences” which was hosted by the Istanbul Halic University. Furthermore, it was pointed out that undergraduate students Baris Filiz and Fatih Kerem Ozkan participated the congress and represented the Near East University. Additionally, the students were expressed to have made a poster presentation which they had prepared at the helm of Academic Member of the Near East University School of Physical Education, Prof. Dr. Sahin Ahmedov. During this presentation, the students emphasized that one of the most significant parameters of fitness to be endurance and that there was a need to evaluate whether an athletes’ performance level changed throughout a day.

The committee members stressed that usually postgraduate students participated in scientific organizations alike and that in the aforementioned event, the undergraduate students of Near East University had made their mark with a very successful presentation. They emphasized that this success was exemplary to all other students.
