Near East University Women's Basketball Team reached the EuroCup semifinals by defeating the French opponent team ESBVA Lille team at the quarter-final away match with a score of 73-61 at the opponent's home. Along with the Near East University, Galatasaray, Hatay BŞB and Bellona AGÜ also reached to semi-finals. For the first time in the history of the European Cup, four Turkish teams, Near East University, Galatasaray, Hatay BŞB and Bellona AGU have reached to the semifinals.

According to the statement made by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of the Near East University, Near East University, starting to the match with Essence Carson, Angelica Robinson, Kayla McBride, Courtney Vandersloot and Quanitra Hollingsworth in İstanbul Cafer Aga Sports Hall, defeated its opponent with scores of 23-12, 35-30, 57-47 and 73-61.
