“Projection-B” has gone beyond the boundaries of TRNC and Turkey

Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design has organised a series of exhibition, of which the first was held in Ankara and was titled as “Projection-A”. Currently it is holding the second of these exhibitions on 18-23 January, 2016 at the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, and is titled as “Projection-B”, brought to the interest of art lovers to visit.

It was pointed out that the exhibition is to be opened at 18:00, on Monday, 18th January, at ARTVILLA Gallery and a total of 25 art pieces of: AYSEL MİRKASIMOVA, DEREN KALFAOĞLU, DİCLE ÖZLÜSES, ERDOĞAN ERGÜN, GÖKHAN OKUR, HASAN ZEYBEK, HİKMET ULUÇAM, MEHMET SARİLER, MUSTAFA HASTÜRK, OSMAN KETEN, RAİF DİMİLİLER, RAİF KIZIL and UĞURCAN AKYÜZ is to be exhibited.

According to the press info release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, the exhibition of NEU Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, titled as “Projection-B” will be held at the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, and is said to be the first joint exhibition ever to be actualised beyond the boundaries of Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). As stated above, “Projection-B” is part of the series of exhibitions to be held at capitals of certain cities (Ankara-Turkey; Baku-Azerbaijan; Bosnia-Sarajevo; Tallinn-Estonia; Nicosia-TRNC) and the last to be held at Nicosia, TRNC, on the tenth anniversary of the NEU Faculty of Fine Arts and Design.

As one of the participants, Academic Member of the NEU Faculty of Architecture, Aysel Mir-Kasımova, made a statement on the matter and expressed that Near East University was not only known for its success in scientific studies, it is also known for its achievements and success in the filed of art. Therefore, Aysel Mir-Kasımova, thanked and expressed gratitude to Near East University for the support it provides for activities and events alike.
