Prime Minister Tufan Erhürman and his delegation accompanied by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Near East University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İrfan Günsel, visited the university campus and received information about the university's innovative activities.

According to the press statement made by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of the Near East University, Prime Minister Tufan Erhürman was accompanied by Mustafa Ergüven, Private Administrative Secretary, Haldun Yücel, Prime Minister's Consultant on Social Responsibility and Umur Örs, Prime Minister's Consultant on Social Responsibility. During the visit, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Near East University Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prof. Murat Tüzünkan, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ and Mehmet Soykurt, member of the Board of Trustees, were also present.

Prime Minister Erhürman and his delegation met at the entrance of the Near East University Innovation and Information Technologies Centre by the Head of the Board of Trustees of the Near East University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Irfan S. Günsel and visited the Innovation and Information Technologies Centre and the Animal Hospital and obtained information about the units. Vice Rector of the Near East University, Prof. Dr. Tamer Sanlıdağ made a detailed presentation on the academic units, publications, research and ongoing projects of the university to Prime Minister Erhürman.

Prime Minister Tufan Erhürman who visited the Innovation and Information Technologies Center, was informed by Ahmet Çağman, Director of Innovation and Information Technologies Center and Ersin Aytac, 3D software team manager about the Super Computer, FeedMe Stations to provide food and water for street animals, works carried out at the 3D Laboratory, Autonomous Electric Minibus, Mind Controlled Electric Chair, Robotics Football Team NEU Islanders, Solar Vehicles and other new projects.
