-Near East University Academics presented a paper titled as “The impact of Political Rulers on the History Books and the Autonomy of History Education in Northern Cyprus: An Attempt to Develop a Model” which drew a lot of interest at the 3rd International Eurasian Educational Research Congress.

The 3rd International Eurasian Educational Research Congress (EJERCongress 2016) was realized at the Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University in Muğla, Turkey.

According to the press info release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, Academic Member of NEU Faculty of Arts and Sciences and Head of NEU Cyprus Research Centre Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şevket Öznur, Academic Member of Department of History Assist. Prof. Dr. Ejdan Sadrazam, and Near East College History Teacher Mete Özsezer jointly prepared “The impact of Political Rulers on the History Books and the Autonomy of History Education in Northern Cyprus: An Attempt to Develop a Model” and represented the Near East University at the 3rd International Eurasian Educational Research Congress in Turkey.
