NEU awarded the certificates to the Civil Servants working under the body of TRNC Prime Ministry Personnel Office

The certificate programme that was facilitated by Near East Institute of Near East University and Life Long Learning Centre has ended. It was revealed that opening ceremony of this programme was made by Prime Minister Ömer Kalyoncu and that it was held as part of the inservice education and training framework of the Ministry.

According to the press info release from the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, cooperatively organised by Near East Institute and Prime Ministry Personnel Office of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), the certificate programme aimed at “effective communication and successful human relations” was a short-term programme and the participant civil servants were awarded their certificates upon completion of the programme at a ceremony held at Near East University.

It was revealed that the programme was run by Head of Department of Marketing of Near East University, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ertugan and the opening ceremony of the programme was made by TRNC Prime Minister Ömer Kalyoncu; Vice Chairman of the NEU Board of Trustees, Assist. Prof. Dr. Murat Tüzünkan; Head of Press and Public Relations of Prime Ministry, Sedat Kılıç; Head of Prime Ministry Personnel Office, Metin Karaderi; and Head of Near East Institute and Life Long Learning Centre, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Umut Koldaş. Furthermore, it was revealed that the certificate programme was held to equip the civil servants with effective communication skills and methods for both within the same institution and across.

Jointly organising the certificate programme with the TRNC Prime Ministry Personnele Office, Head of Near East Institute and Life Long Learning, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Umut Koldaş expressed many thanks to Head of TRNC Prime Ministry Personnel Office Metin Karaderi, and everyone else involved in the certificate programme and emphasised the necessity of the continuation of inservice education and training programmes as they were highly beneficial.
