A team of students studying at Near East University represented their university successfully at the first International Urban, Environment and Health Congress that held in TRNC.

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of Near East University, the congress provided platform for participants to discuss and make presentations on issues regarding city, environment and health. Within this frame, Near East University students consisting of Sinem Yıldırım, postgraduate student at the Department of Landscape Architecture, Işıl Sayhan, third grade student at NEU Faculty of Medicine, Oğuzhan Abdülkadir Yiğit, final year student at NEU Faculty of Communication, and Esra Kutun, third grade student at the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation made their presentations at the panel on ‘Design the Sustainable City’ that chaired by Prof. Dr. Songül Acar Vaizoğlu from the Department of Public Health of Near East University Faculty of Medicine.
