Near East University Center of Excellence Societal Research and Development Center co-chairpersons Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zehra ALTINAY and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fahriye ALTINAY along with Mehmet Ekin VAİZ and Gülsün BAŞARI represented Near East University at the 1st Applied Barrier-Free Tourism and Health Congress that held at Okan University Bekir Okan Conference Hall.

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of Near East University, NEU faculty members that participated in the congress made a presentation on the Importance and Role of Education and Information Technologies in the Development of Barrier Free Service Management.

Touching upon the importance and the crucial role of education and information technologies in ensuring sustainable conditions on the island for barrier-free tourism and health, NEU faculty members underlined the significance of integrating efforts regarding the barrier-free services with the efforts that exerted to be an island of higher education.
