Assist. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yeniasır, lecturer of Department of Turkish Language Teaching, and Egemen Ergin, student of Department of Turkish Language Teaching under Atatürk Education Faculty, Near East University, represented Near East University in the 16th International Classroom Teaching Education Symposium hosted by the European University of Lefke.

They participated in the International Class Teaching Education Symposium with the paper titled "A review of Aysel Gürmen's works written for children of 8-12 years".

The 16th International Classroom Teaching Education Symposium ended with a closing session. The International Classroom Teaching Education Symposium was realized since 1994 by several universities and took its place among the symposiums organized by the education faculties, attaining an important respect in terms of scientific quality and professional value.
