Near East University Member of the Managing Board of DESAM and NEU-BAP Coordinator Prof Dr Seda Vatansever receives project fund from TUBİTAK

Member of the Managing Board of the Near East University Experimental Health Sciences Research Centre (DESAM) and Near East University (NEU) Scientific Research Projects (BAP) Coordinator Prof Dr Seda Vatansever has just been awarded project support from the 2017 1st Period 1001 Project fund of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK).

According to the press info release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, founding member of the Near East University Experimental Health Sciences Research Centre (DESAM) Prof Dr Seda Vatansever is currently a researcher of a project titled as “Developing multi-functional self-assembled peptide hydrogel for the purpose of speeding up osseointegration process of dental implants and the in vitro and in vivo evaluation of its effectiveness”. For this project, Prof Dr Seda Vatansever has been awarded a project fund as part of the 2017 2.st period TUBİTAK projects.

Making a statement regarding the matter, Prof Dr Seda Vatansever, expressed that she had 2 projects in 2017 which was currently supported by TÜBİTAK 1001 projects. She also pointed out that very recently two of her projects (1002 projects) were completed in July, 2017. She emphasised her belief that the current project which has just been awarded the TÜBİTAK 1001 fund has honoured the project.
