Near East University is hosting Adnan Bali, Member if Board of Directors of Türkiye İş Bankası (Turkish Bank) and General Director. He will be giving a seminar titled as “steps to the path to career and success”.

According to the press info release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, Adnan Bali, General Director of Turkish Is Bank, is a graduate from Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Middle East Technical University and had began his career in 1986 as Vice Director of Committee of Inspection of Türkiye İş Bankası. At the seminar which he will be giving on University of Kyrenia, it was expressed that he will be sharing his experiences over the 30 years of experiences titled as “steps to the path to career and success” with the attendees. It was pointed out that Adnan Bali had been appointed as General Director of Türkiye İş Bankası Main Branch on 1st April, 2011 and that he was also currently acting as the Director of Committee of Credit and Committee of Risk.

The seminar will be taking place on Friday, 18th March, 2016 at 10:00 at Near East University Grand Library…

It will be held at Near East University Grand Library, Hall 3, and academic members and students of Near East University, alongside Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus public, community, personnel of non-governmental institutions are welcome to attend the seminar.

Making a statement on the matter, Representative Dean of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Near East University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şerife Eyüpoğlu expressed that hey were very pleased to host a successful person such as Adnan Bali and added that the seminar which he will be giving was highly valuable. Furthermore, she expressed that they were expecting the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Near East University to highly benefit from this seminar as he was an exemplary person. She stressed that 30 years of successful career years was surely to be encouraging and inspiring for the students, and in fact everyone.

Who is Adnan Bali?

He was born in Islahiye in 1962 and is a graduate of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Middle East Technical University.

He began his career in 1986 as Vice Director of Committee of Inspection of Türkiye İş Bankası. In 1994, he became Head of Fund Management, in 1997 he became Head of Group, in 1998 he was appointed as Director of Fund Management. Moreover, in 2002 he became Vice Director of Şişli Branch, in 2004 Director of Galata Branch, and on 30th May, 2006, he became Vice Director of the Bank.

Finally, on 1st April, 2011, he was appointed as the 16th General Director of Türkiye İş Bankası Main Branch and is currently acting as the Director of Committee of Credit and Committee of Risk.
