Near East University Department of Computer and Educational Technologies Students participated in the “15th International Project Management Day”

Functioning under the body of Atatürk Faculty of Education of Near East University, Department of Computer and Educational Technologies final year students participated in the event titled as “15th International Project Management Day” that was organised by the Union of the Chambers of Cyprus Turkish Engineers and Architects.

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, the event was held at Conference Hall of Gönyeli Municipality and with this event, specialists shared their success stories with the participants.

In addition to the above, it was stated that Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Prime Ministry YAGA Director, Ebru Kaptan Sertoğlu, European Commission Programme Manager Berna Berberoğlu and Physiotherapist Musa Kocatepe who have experience in business management, project management, project consultancy, personal development coaching and instructing shared their success stories with the attendants.

It was expressed that the international project management day (IPM day) is always celebrated on the first Thursday of November and this year, the 15th Project Management Day was simultaneously celebrated in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, Turkey and in capital city of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Nicosia. At the end of the event, the students were awarded with certificate of participation.


Quality Education is being aimed…
Academic Member of Department of Computer and Educational Technologies, Prof. Dr. Zehra Altınay Gazi, stated that each year the department students get involved in similar events and find the opportunity to share experiences and knowledge with project management professionals, managers, academicians and everyone else involved in the field of project management; alongside getting to know other students interested in the field, therefore improving occupational connections and enabling future cooperation possible.

Dean of Atatürk Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Mirici also made a statement regarding the matter and expressed that they aimed to provide the students with education at global standards and with the support of their highly competent academic staff, educate students with quality education, satisfied with the opportunities provided in the department.
