Near East University, Biomedical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering Departments ASINN, EQFLL and EUR-ACE Accreditations once again prolonged

Near East University, Biomedical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering departments have once again prolonged accreditations they have received since 2015 from ASIIN, EQFLLL (European Qualifications Framework for Life-Long Learning) and EUR-ACE (European Accreditation of Engineering Programs). Evaluations carried out by impartial specialists were successfully completed.

According to the statement made by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of the Near East University, it is stated that the accreditation is once again prolonged by ASIIN, centred in Germany, the accrediting institution of Europe's Engineering, Mathematics, Informatics and Natural Sciences areas. This accreditation, prolonged by ASIIN, confirms the accordance of the Near East University's engineering programs with the European standards and underlines and approves quality assurance.

The Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Sumer Şahin, Head of Biomedical Engineering Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Terin Adalı and the Head of Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Prof. Dr. Bülent Bilgehan made a common statement; "In education, accordance with the international quality standards and impartial audit processes have been successfully accomplished. The international accreditation, which is the approval of the quality of education our students receive, is very important for us. We would like to thank all members of the committee for their efforts in this process. "
