Near East University Atatürk Faculty of Education Department of Preschool Teaching actualized the Waste Product Exhibition that displayed art objects created by the students from various waste materials during the courses on ‘Child Mental Health’ and ‘Environmental Education’ that implemented by Expert Güldal Kan and Nazım Kaşot respectively.

According the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of Near East University, over twenty art of waste objects that created by ‘Child Mental Health’ course students and almost 30 objects that created from various waste materials by ‘Environmental Education’ course students were displayed at the exhibition. In addition, a playing house corner based on game-structured technique was prepared in order to reflect the inconsistencies between the subjective and objective experiences of children. The exhibition meant to raise awareness and understanding by giving the message ‘waste is not waste, it’s a resource, waste can even be art’.
