Near East University and Celal Bayar University have signed a Cooperation Protocol

Operating under the body of Centre of Excellence of Near East University, NEU Communal Research and Development Centre-Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Barrier-Free Information Platform has signed a cooperation protocol with Celal Bayar University-Barrier Free Information Platform of Turkey.

It was revealed that the protocol was signed by the Rector of Near East University, Prof. Dr. Ümit Hassan and Rector of Celal Bayar University Prof. Dr. A. Kemal Çelebi.

Prof. Dr. Ümit Hassan: “We are establishing the foundation of an official cooperation which will surely make a contribution to the community!”

According to the press info release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, Prof. Dr. Ümit Hassan, Rector of NEU, made a speech at the protocol signing ceremony and said: “ By signing this protocol, we are officially to cooperate with Celal Bayar University to make contributions to the community through research projects and through cultural exchange programmes.”

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kemal Çelebi: “We are ready to fully cooperate with Near East University. ”

Also making a speech at the protocol signing ceremony, Rector of Celal Bayar University, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kemal Çelebi said: “Today is a rather meaningful and significant day for me. We, as Celal Bayar University, are ready to share and cooperate with Near East University. We are aware that it is possible to develop and enrich research by making cooperation. We truly hope and wish for our cooperation with Near East University to be fruitful and beneficial.”

An interchangeably supportive protocol has been signed among parties...

Subsequent to the above mentioned speeches, the protocol was signed by Rector of Near East University, Prof. Dr. Ümit Hassan and Rector of Celal Bayar University, Prof. Dr. A. Kemal Çelebi.

The cooperation will include research and joint academic meetings; publications; exchange of information in relative fields; organising and hosting joint workshops; and arranging scholarships and funds; technology transfers and institutional development are some of the targeted fields of cooperation, and all is expected to be interchangeably supportive to both institutions.
