Erdal Aygenç was invited to be a member of the Selection Committee of International Modern Art and Design Fair Competitions held within the scope of the International Contemporary Arts Week in China's capital Beijing where subject specialists and artists from various countries take part in the juries. Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Erdal Aygenç said that he was honored to have represented the Near East University in the competition, where expert trainers and artists from various countries were present as jury members. Prof. Aygenç stated that within the scope of the International Contemporary Arts Week new talents are discovered and encouraged in the fields of painting, sculpture, graphics, and photography. Aygenç also stated his membership in the committee would have made a significant contribution to the international recognition of the Near East University and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
