As part of the ‘events week’ and the course given by Specialist Şebnem GÜLDAL KAN titled as ‘waste materials’, Near East University Atatürk Faculty of Education Department of Pre-School Teaching students are exhibiting their materials designed.

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, the exhibition is being jointly held by the Department of Pre-School Teaching and Department of Child Development, and through cooperation with NEU Nursery and Preschool. The exhibition is being held at the Pre-School Education Centre. Furthermore, it was stated that the Dean of Atatürk Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Hüseyin UZUNBOYLU; Vice Deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat TEZER and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Behçet ÖZNACAR; Head of Departments, Academic Members and students attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

Making an opening speech, Dean of Atatürk Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Hüseyin UZUNBOYLU stated that creativity was rather important in the field of pre-school education, and that material design was an essential part of raising teachers to work in this field. He added that due to the advancement on technology, technology could now be utilized during the process of material design.

In addition to the above, Prof. Dr. UZUNBOYLU expressed many thanks to the students and the teacher in charge of the material design course, Şebnem Güldal KAN, for their efforts in producing such materials and congratulated Şebnem Güldal KAN fro equipping her students with significant skills to be later used during their teaching careers.

Subsequent to the opening speech of the Dean of Atatürk Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin UZUNBOYLU, Vice Deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat TEZER and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Behçet ÖZNACAR, Vice Principal of Near East Junior College Mehmet SÜLEYMANOĞU, Vice Principal of the NEU Pre-School Beklem BLADANLI RIZA, Teacher at the NEU Pre-School AKYENER, Head of Department of Pre-School Teaching Dr. Ezgi ULU, Academic Members Assist. Prof. Dr. Şeniz ŞENSOY, Dr. Didem İŞLEK, Specialist Çilem ÇALTIKUŞU, Specialist Dervişe A. TOKLU, Specialist Yücehan YÜCESOY, Mazlüme KÜREN, students and Course Tutor Specialist Şebnem Güldal KAN explored the exhibition.

It was pointed out that the exhibition would be open to visit until EOB, Friday, 22nd December 2017.
