The second edition of the book titled as “Handbook of Essential Oils: Science, Technology and Applications” written by the Academic Member of Department of Pharmacognosy of Near East University, Prof. Dr. K. Hüsnü Can Başer , and edited by retired Academician from Faculty of Pharmacy of University of Vienna Prof. Dr. Gerhard Buchbauer has been awarded the ABC (the American Botanical Council) James A. Duke 2016 Botanical Literature Award.

According to the press info release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, the American Botanical Council announced recipient of 2016 James A. Duke Excellence in Botanical Literature Award as “Handbook of Essential Oils: Science, Technology and Applications” written by the Academic Member of Department of Pharmacognosy of Near East University, Prof. Dr. K. Hüsnü Can Başer.
