Prof. Dr. Yağmur Çerkez and on behalf of the graduating students, the top graduate of the faculty Pınar Fergar expressed their feelings. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt: “Never forget that you serve humanity.”
Near East University Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt, reminding American educator John Dewey’s words, “Education is not preparation for life, education is life itself”, stated that educational science covers all applications. Addressing the graduates, Mustafa Kurt said, “Never forget that you serve humanity. Encourage criticism and grievance, because these mechanisms are the product of a civilized attitude. Be aware that authority comes from knowledge, not amplification. Remember that learning is not time-dependent and you should be proud of what you don’t know, not what you know.”

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yağmur Çerkez: “We have full faith that you will serve your profession and humanity in the best way by constantly improving yourself and producing solutions to problems.”
Near East University Atatürk Education Faculty Acting Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yağmur Çerkez in her speech at the ceremony said, “Today is the last day of a very long, often tiring and not always a fun, but definitely productive and rewarding journey for you, our graduates. We are honored to share this excitement with you.”

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yağmur Çerkez said, “As Atatürk Faculty of Education, we do believe that our students graduate as individuals who can think creatively, authentically and analytically, who are aware of their social responsibilities, who share knowledge and support productivity.”

Stating that teaching is one of the highest professions, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yağmur Çerkez said, “Societies entrust their future to teachers and you are aware of how important this job is. You are individuals to whom we will safely entrust our future and our children. You know what it takes to achieve the goals you set. We fully believe that you will serve your profession and humanity in the best way by constantly improving yourself and producing solutions to problems.

Pınar Fergar: “We will continue on our way with all the knowledge that our university and our professors have given us.”
Speaking on behalf of all graduates, Pınar Fergar, the top graduate of the Near East University Atatürk Faculty of Education, said, “We are now at the end of this road that we embarked on with great excitement four years ago. As we left here today, we took a piece of each of our educators for ourselves. I would like to thank all our teachers for their support throughout our education life.”
