The Importance and Role of Women...
The opening speech of the exhibition was made by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ, who said "After each ribbon cut a door opened to a new world full of beauty and aesthetics and a new exhibition is about to be opened reflecting and expressing women's images, symbolism in the style of women's philosophy and spiritual world. The main theme of the exhibition is about women and the colors of red, yellow and purple most commonly used in Turkmenistan. Women have been one of the most important elements of the development of civilization since ancient times. According to Bahaeddin Ögel, one of the pioneers of social history researches in Turkey, who studies on the issues of Turkish cultural history, women are the basic figure of their houses in Turkish society. The most important responsibility at home is assumed by the women. In the old Turks, the woman is not only at home but also with her husband outside and participates in wars when necessary. It is understood from the information given by the travelers that Turkmen women have very important duties in social life and that they undertake the most important responsibilities in maintaining the social life under the difficult conditions of their geography.

Turkish women have had the rights of the women of the civilized world with the rights given by Atatürk, said Prof. Dr. Şanlıdağ and added "No woman of any nation in the world can say; I have worked more than the Anatolian woman, I struggled to take my nation to salvation and victory such as the Anatolian women... Perhaps our men stood against the enemy with bayonets against the invaders of the country, stretching their breasts to the bayonets of the enemy. However, our women managed the life resources of the army formed by our men. Therefore, all of us must respect to these great-spirited and sentimental women with great gratitude and let their dedication known forever.

Minister Taçoy said, “You are experiencing the pleasure of not being able to resist the energy given to the human life by the red and yellow used in the works, while the attractiveness and brightness of the colors draw the energy given to the day in a very different direction. There's air in the living room that resembles an abundance. The depiction of pomegranate in the works is very different from the taste and vision of fruit as well as the fertility it represents. It looks great to see the pomegranate match with a woman on canvas from the point of a female painter.

The Minister of Economy and Energy Hasan Taçoy expressed his enthusiasm for the goal of reaching to 20 thousand artworks at the Near East University Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, which will be opened on November 15, 2020.
