Turkish language course was given to refugees in TRNC in cooperation with Near East University and Refugee Rights Association

The Turkish course for refugees, carried out by the Near East University in cooperation with the Refugee Rights Association within the scope of social responsibility, has been completed. 32 people benefited from the two-month Turkish course, which is given free of charge to individuals who are refugees in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

Refugee Rights Association visited the Near East University faculty members who took up the training and thanked them. Due to the support given to the project by the Refugee Rights Association, Near East University Atatürk Education Faculty Social Sciences and Turkish Education Department Head Assoc.Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yeniasır, Deputy Head of Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burak Gökbulut, Director of Turkish Preparatory School Assist. Prof. Dr. Funda Gezer Faslı and Turkish Preparatory School lecturer Aslı Piro Rado were presented the certificates of appreciation. During the visit, ideas were exchanged on the future cooperation of the Refugee Rights Association and the Near East University.

Near East University Atatürk Faculty of Education Head of Turkish Language Teaching Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yeniasır said that they were delighted to give a Turkish language course to the people who live as refugees in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus for various reasons in cooperation with the Refugee Rights Association, which supports health, education, social life, nutrition and many other issues of refugees. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeniasır said, “After the Turkish course we completed within the scope of social responsibility projects, we will continue our cooperation with the Refugee Rights Association in the future.”
