The domestic car of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, GÜNSEL, met with the Motherland at MUSIAD EXPO 2020. GÜNSEL was welcomed with great interest and enthusiasm by the press, business, political world and the public. B9, the first model of GÜNSEL, got full marks from the test drives performed outside the fairground. The concept design of the second model J9 was also on exhibition. After the fair, which was completed on November 21, GÜNSEL team and vehicles returned to TRNC.
Preparing for mass production in the last quarter of 2021, TRNC's domestic and national automobile GÜNSEL met with the Motherland at the International Economy, Finance and Trade Summit MUSIAD EXPO 2020, organized by MUSIAD every two years. GÜNSEL was one of the most special and attracted guests of MÜSİAD EXPO 2020, which was visited by approximately 15 thousand people.
The fair, which is the first event that GÜNSEL participated outside of the TRNC, lasted for four days. 3 prototypes produced in yellow, blue and red colors symbolizing the soil, sky and flag of TRNC were exhibited at the fair where B9, the first model of GÜNSEL, which was produced by more than 100 Turkish engineers and designers with 1.2 million hours of labor within the body of Near East University, was introduced. In addition, GÜNSEL introduced the design concept of its second model J9 to automobile enthusiasts.

Agreements with over 800 suppliers from 28 countries have been signed for the production of GÜNSEL B9. Thus, the global economy of the TRNC was recognized by countries other than Turkey, which have provided a significant contribution to become a part of GÜNSEL. Approximately 400 of the suppliers with which GÜNSEL signed an agreement are operating in Turkey. Its suppliers also visited the GÜNSEL booth at MUSIAD EXPO 2020 and examined the final version of the vehicle. GÜNSEL has also become the center of attention of many sector representatives from the automotive world.
GÜNSEL received full marks in test drives
In the MÜSİAD EXPO 2020, which was opened on November 18, test drives of GÜNSEL were also carried out in the test drive area created outside the fairground. More than 100 users had the opportunity to test GÜNSEL B9 during the four-day test drives. Journalists and sector representatives who had the opportunity to experience GÜNSEL's driving performance gave full marks to GÜNSEL's performance.

GÜNSEL IN NUMBERS
GÜNSEL B9 is a 100 percent electric car. The vehicle, which can travel 350 kilometers on a single charge, was produced by combining 10 thousand 936 parts in total. The engine of the vehicle has a power of 140 kW. The speed limit of GÜNSEL B9, which can reach 100 km / h in 8 seconds, was electronically limited to 170 km / h. The battery of GÜNSEL B9 can be charged in just 30 minutes with high-speed charging. In the case of fast charging, this time is 4 hours. The number of employees of GÜNSEL, where more than 100 engineers and designers spent 1.2 million hours in the development process, reached 166. This number, which will increase rapidly with the start of mass production, will rise to over a thousand by 2025.
