Registration procedures are to be completed between 28 August – 1 September 2023. Registrations will be carried out on the Near East University campus in Nicosia, as well as at the representative offices in Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, Istanbul, Izmir, Hatay, Mardin, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa and Van.
The Assessment, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) announced the 2023 UPE results, which hundreds of thousands of students are eagerly waiting for. According to the results, the number of students placed in the TRNC universities increased by 24.3 percent, reaching 13,728. 2,821 students have preferred to study at Near East University. The number of students who have been placed in the Near East University, which has been the most preferred university in the TRNC for the last 8 years, has increased by 10% compared to the previous year.

Students who are entitled to be placed at Near East University according to the 2023 UPE results must complete their final registration between 28 August – 1 September 2023. Registrations can be carried out on the Near East University campus in Nicosia, as well as at the representative offices in Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, Istanbul, Izmir, Hatay, Mardin, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa and Van.

Emphasizing that the 2023 UPE placement results show that the interest in the TRNC, which is a university island, has increased by a significant 24.3 percent, Near East University Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ said, “According to the 2023 UPE results, the Near East University, which has been preferred by 2,821 students, has once again become the most preferred university in the TRNC. This success, which has continued uninterruptedly for 8 years shows that the academic and social opportunities we provide to our students and the scientific productivity created by our competent academic staff are also adopted by young people who want to spend a quality university life.

Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ, reminding that the registration process must be completed between 28 August and 1 September 2023, said that students can complete their registration at the Near East University representative offices in Turkey and on the Near East University campus.
