The perspectives of teachers of the future on the education system were discussed in a panel held at the Near East University

The students of the department, who are the teachers of the future, discussed the education system with the panel titled “Views of the Teachers of Future on the Education System” and organized by the Near East University Atatürk Faculty of Education, Department of Turkish Language Teaching and the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. The panel, hosted by Turkish Language Teaching Department student Ayşenur Köleoğlu, started with a moment of silence and the voicing of the National Anthem. The Turkish Language Teaching Department students Tuğçe Taş, Büşra Varol, Yakup Sözeri and Turkish Language and Literature Department student Nezahat Aksoy continued with the panel titled “The Views of the Teachers of Future on the Education System”.

Teachers of the future discussed the education system
In the panel chaired by Tuğçe Taş, one of the speakers, Yakup Sözeri, gave a speech titled “Technology in education and view of the teachers of the future on technology”. In his speech, Sözeri emphasized that technology and education should be considered together and that in-service training should be given importance in order for all educators to be more productive in this sense.

Büşra Varol, one of the panelists, made a presentation on the distance education process, especially in primary and secondary education, in her speech titled “Education in the Pandemic Period”. Nezahat Aksoy, a student of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature, presented solutions to the current problems of the education system with her presentation titled “General problems of education and teachers’ perspectives on these problems”. The program was carried out by Near East University Faculty of Arts and Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Ali Efdal Özkul ended with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation to the participants.
