The owner of the TRNC Records Doğukan Ulaç in Turkey’s Qualification Process

Doğukan Ulaç, a swimmer from the Near East University (NEU) who won the International Istanbul Swimming Marathon in July, added more to his successes.

Doğukan Ulaç becomes the Owner of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Record
Doğukan Ulaç broke the record in 200 meters freestyle swimming and Near East University Young Women and Men teams also won the championships at the Republic Cup organized by the North Cyprus Water Sports Federation. Doğukan Ulaç broke the record with a time of 01.53.81 and the NEU Young Women Team broke the record in 4x50 meters relay race with a time of 01.53.57.

Ulaç in Turkey's National Team Qualification Process
Near East University swimmer Doğukan Ulaç will compete in the qualification races held by Turkey Turkcell Open Age Short Course National Team elections and on the first day will compete in 800 meters free style, on the second day in 1500 freestyle and on the third day in 400 meters freestyle races that will take place between 15-18 November 2018.

Ulaç, who will represent the Near East University abroad, expressed his desire to repeat his success.

Near East University broke the records as well as having the championships
Near East University teenager and young women and men swimming teams received double championships at the swimming races held by the North Cyprus Water Sports Federation on November 10-11, 2018. Near East University swimmers, in addition to having the championships, broke the TRNC records.

Near East University (NEU) Young Women Team broke the record at 4x50 meters freestyle race with time of 01.53.57, Near East University (NEU) swimmer Doğukan Ulaç broke the record in 200 meters freestyle race with time of 01.53.81 and Near East University (NEU) swimmer Buğra Buba broke the record in 200 meters breaststroke category with a time of 02.27.94, Emre Ersoy broke the 50 meters and 100 meters backstroke category records with a time of 00.28.66 and 01.02.56.

Near East University (NEU) athletes stated that their achievements depend on the endless support provided them by the Near East Family and their trainers, and their trainers congratulated them for their outstanding achievements and expressed their belief that the athletes will achieve much greater success.
