At the congress, which attracted representatives from 27 countries, Yağız Abacı participated in numerous seminars, workshops, and events. He made important contacts on global dental education, student exchange programs, and scientific collaborations, and discussed current developments and future educational opportunities in the field.
The congress, which offers dental students the opportunity to develop their professional competencies and closely follow innovations in international healthcare, brought together students from diverse cultures and contributed to their preparation for the future in a more equipped and informed way.
NCADS has moved into the European region!
The congress voted to elect new IADS board members for the 2025-2026 academic year. Furthermore, important plans were made for student exchange programs and international collaborations to be implemented in Northern Cyprus during the new academic year.
With the amendment to the regulations, Northern Cyprus has been moved from its long-standing Middle Eastern region to the European region. This change will allow for a new era in scientific research, student internships, and course programs, making the process more accessible. NCADS will now represent Northern Cyprus as a European country.
Thanks to the new structure, dental students studying in Northern Cyprus will have the opportunity to gain more international experience, expand their professional networks, and enhance their professional competencies. Furthermore, the new regulation will combine the North African and Middle Eastern regions to form a new coalition region. This structural change aims to strengthen regional collaborations and create a more inclusive representation system.
