We are currently in the negotiation process, but with the search for a political solution, the artistic promotion of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to the world and in terms of explaining the importance given to art, these events are an invaluable introduction. When the hundreds of artists come here and return back to their countries, they speak about the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Near East University and Dr. Suat Günsel; and in my opinion it is invaluable to advertise the country through the perspectives of artists. Therefore, we can conclude that Near East University takes on a significant mission involving promotion of art in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in addition to promoting the TRNC in foreign countries. As the government, we wish to thank the Near East Family for taking this great role and for attaching great importance to art and science.
