The countdown has begun for the Near East University 6th International Conference on Interdisciplinary Education Reflections (ICIER 2024)!

Near East University continues to host national and international scientific events that make an influence in their field. The sixth “International Conference on Interdisciplinary Educational Reflections – ICIER 2024”, which will be organized in cooperation with Near East University Atatürk Faculty of Education and Graduate Education Institute, will take place on 21-23 March 2024.

The opening ceremony of ICIER 2024, supported by the General Secondary Education Department of the Ministry of National Education and the Education Joint Services Department, will be held on Thursday, March 21, at 14.00 at the Near East University Grand Library Hall 4.

The conference will be held with the theme of “Inclusive Education and Accessibility” and will bring together expert speakers and many academicians from Turkey, Kazakhstan and China, as well as the TRNC. The conference, which will emphasize the importance of inclusiveness and accessibility in education, will discuss the latest research, innovations and effective implementation strategies in the field. At the conference, Prof. Dr. Ayşe Çakır İlhan from Cappadocia University, Prof. Dr. Kürşat Çağıltay from Sabancı University, Dr. Gainiya Tazhina from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, and Dr. Xiangling Zhang from Beijing Institute of Education, Beijing, will make presentations as invited participants.

On the last day of the three-day conference, five different workshops will be held for teachers, academics and candidates. Participants who complete the workshops will receive a certificate of participation approved by the Ministry of National Education.

Many topics will be discussed in the workshops to be held free of charge within the scope of ICIER2024, in sessions determined in line with the sustainable development goals.

In the workshops approved by the Ministry of National Education and open to the public, topics titled “Strategic Planning for Inclusive Education”, “Sustainable Development and Education in Practice”, “Interdisciplinary Scientific Research and Scientific Reporting”, “Accessibility and Education”, and “Individual Differences in Learning and Instructional Practices” will be discussed.
