Telsim Deputy General Manager Fevzi Tanpınar met with the students as part of the “Young Communicators Know the sector” commune series organized by the Near East University Faculty of Communication, Department of Public Relations and Publicity.

The first event of the commune series “Young Communicators Know the Sector”, with which the Near East University Communication Faculty Public Relations and Publicity Department aims to bring communication students together with professionals, was held.

In the interviews, it is aimed that the students embody the theoretical knowledge they learn in the lessons by sharing their knowledge and experience with professionals from different fields.


The first guest of the commune series is Telsim Deputy General Manager Fevzi Tanpınar.
In the first interview held as part of the event, Telsim Deputy General Manager Fevzi Tanpınar met with the students of the Near East University Faculty of Communication. Tanpınar, while telling the young communicators about his professional career journey, also gave important information about corporate structure, strategic human resources management, media planning and social responsibility studies.

Fevzi Tanpınar, who also answered the questions of the students and lecturers, emphasized the importance of combining the theoretical background and experience, while emphasizing the importance of innovations and catching up with the current.

In the interview moderated by Near East University Communication Faculty Public Relations and Publicity Department Lecturer Ufuk Altunç, Tanpınar said that success is inevitable when students reinforce the theoretical knowledge they have acquired at the university by applying them in the field.

For this reason, while paving the way for them to do internships in many institutions throughout their education, we bring them together with the important professionals of the sector and enable them to benefit from their experiences.

Reminding that Near East University was ranked 7th in the “Quality of Education” in the World Universities Impact Ranking published last week by London-based Times Higher Education (THE), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayhan Dolunay said, “With the events we organize, we aim to develop the boundaries of the quality education we offer to our students. I would like to express my gratitude to Telsim Deputy General Manager Mr. Fevzi Tanpınar, who came together with our students in the first of the commune series “Young Communicators Know the Sector”, of which we will organize new ones in the coming days.
