The book titled “Creativity and Art in Early Childhood”, to which Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Lecturer Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yücel Yazgın contributed with the “Creative Education” section he wrote, was published. In the book “Creativity and Art in Early Childhood”, edited by Dilek Acer, the “Creative Education” section is written by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yücel Yazgın and Co-authored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eda Yazgın.

Many academics and educators contributed to the book published in the preschool, child development category. The names of Prof. Dr. Ayşe Okvuran, Prof. Dr. Dilek Acer, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eda Yazgın, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yücel Yazgın, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ceren Güneröz, Dr. Binhan Koyuncuoğlu, Dr. Tuğba Abanoz, Dr. Elif Öztürk Yılmaztekin, Dr. Cansu Yıldız Taşdemir, Ayşenur Karabulut, Kader Karadeniz-Akdoğan and Rabia Turgut have been included in the book.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yücel Yazgın: “Every child comes into the world with his or her own unique talents. The direction in which he develops is closely related to the opportunities and experiences offered to him, as well as to his potential.”
Stating that they aim to ‘look at creativity from the perspective of education’ with the “Creative Education” section, Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yücel Yazgın said, “Every child comes into the world with his or her own unique talents. The direction in which he develops is closely related to the opportunities and experiences offered to him, as well as to his potential.” Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yücel Yazgın emphasized that family, school and teachers are equally important in the development of children’s creativity.
