The “Biz-We” Photo Exhibition Held For Children’s Benefit Attracts Great Interest…

The photo exhibition "Biz" organized by the Near East University Faculty of Communication, academic and administrative personnel for the benefit of Çağlayan Kindergarten as part of the social responsibility project attracted great interest.

In the press statement made by the Press and Public Affairs Directorate of the Near East University, the income from the exhibition held at the Nicosia Atatürk Cultural Center and photographic works sold was used to meet the needs of children who are under care of the Caglayan Kindergarten Department of Social Services Department under the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.

In the exhibition; in total 60 photographs with which photocollaries and illustrations were used have been exhibited and sold for the children of Çağlayan Kindergarten.

The Vice Dean of the Near East University Faculty of Communication, and the Head of Department of Visual Communication and Design, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci said that the exhibition was organized in order to raise awareness among children in our society and in the world by emphasizing the increasing number of needy children.

Assoc. Dr. Gökçe Keçeci spoke as follows: "With this project, our academic and administrative staff will be aware of the increasing number of the needy children in our society and in the world, unfortunately the number of children in need is increasing every day. We are aiming to support the "Caglayan Kindergarden" by providing support to provide a home environment for the children of the orphaned or poor families, and to understand that each individual of the society is actually "we".

AKUT Team Supports Exhibition Voluntarily
The AKUT team of the Near East University supported the humanitarian aid. AKUT team captain said that together with his team members they are happy and proud of being part of the social responsibility projects of the faculty every year and said that they wanted to take part in social responsibility projects to be organized in future.
