The Allegra Ensemble concert, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Turkey and the Nicosia Embassy in honor of the 100th foundation anniversary of the Republic of Turkey, was held at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center with large participation, including the TRNC state protocol.
“Allegra Ensemble”, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Turkey and the Nicosia Embassy for the 100th-anniversary celebrations of the Republic of Turkey, brought together the TRNC state protocol and art lovers at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center.
The concert, which fascinated the audience, was attended by Chairman of the Parliament Zorlu Töre, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, President of the Supreme Court Narin Şefik, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Gökhan Yazgı, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Nicosia Prof. Dr. Metin Feyzioğlu, Commander of the Turkish Cypriot Peace Forces Major General Sebahattin Kılıç, and the Commander of the Security Forces, Major General Osman Aytaç and the government members.
The public showed great interest in the concert of Allegra Ensemble, which presented art lovers with a rich repertoire of folk songs, tango, classical jazz pieces as well as many different musical genres. At the concert held at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center within the scope of the 100th foundation anniversary of the Republic celebrations, different colors of world music met with the audience accompanied by classical western music instruments.
Before the concert given by Allegra Ensemble, President Ersin Tatar, Parliament President Zorlu Töre, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Gökhan Yazgı, Republic of Turkey Ambassador to Nicosia Prof. Dr. Metin Feyzioğlu and Near East Enterprises Board of Trustees Chairman Prof. Dr. İrfan Suat Günsel made speeches.
