The 100th anniversary of the foundation of Republic of Turkey will be celebrated with the “Allegra Ensemble” concert at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center

The Allegra Ensemble concert, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Turkey and the Nicosia Embassy in honor of the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of Turkey, will be held free of charge at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center on Friday, October 27, at 20.00.

Just a few days before October 29, the 100th anniversary of the Republic, events organized within the scope of Republic celebrations continue unabated. The Allegra Ensemble concert, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Turkey and the Nicosia Embassy in honor of the 100th anniversary of the foundation of Republic of Turkey, will be held on Friday, October 27, at 20.00 at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center. The concert will be open to the public free of charge.

Allegra Ensemble, which means Joyful Ensemble, will bring art lovers together with a rich repertoire of folk songs, tango, classical jazz pieces as well as many different musical genres. At the concert to be held at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center within the scope of the Republic celebrations, different colors of world music will meet the audience accompanied by classical western music instruments.

Before the music feast that will be carried out with the Allegra Ensemble concert organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Turkey and the Embassy of Nicosia, two exhibitions will be opened at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center and the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts will host tto commemorate he 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey. The “100th Anniversary of Our Republic October Exhibition”, consisting of the artworks of the artists from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Near East University, and the solo painting exhibition of the Kazakh artist Mariia Raskin titled “The Inspiration of Cyprus” will be opened by Prime Minister Ünal Üstel at 15.00.
