According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, Dr. Abdikarim M. Abdi was born in Somalia Djibouti and has completed his higher education at Near East University, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. He is currently continuing to work in the field of clinical pharmacy and that in 2017 received the best academic poster award at the FIP Congress held in Seoul. Furthermore, his studies on problems related to medications, medicine usage profiles, patient education and cooperation with health professionals also continue.

An outstanding success achieved at Near east University…
Dr. Abdikarim M. Abdi came to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in 2013 to undertake his postgraduate education (MA) and completed his study with an outstanding success at the Near East University Faculty of Pharmacy Department of Clinical Pharmacy in 2014.

That same year he became an academic member of his own department from which he graduated from and began his doctorate with a full scholarship. Due his doctoral thesis, Dr. Abdikarim M. Abdi conducted research on clinical pharmacy applications and the development of an ideal model for evaluating skills needed for clinical pharmacy applications.

Dr. Abdikarim who is a member of the American College of Clinical Psychology (ACCP) and International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) is expressed to continue his studies at the Near East University on clinical pharmacy education; alongside studies on improving and disseminating wise medicine usage in our country.
