Applications for the Near East University “TRNC Student Placement and Scholarship Ranking Exam” to be held on Saturday, May 23rd at 10:00 AM, will close on Thursday, May 21st. Free transportation will also be provided for candidates taking the exam.

The “TRNC Student Placement and Scholarship Ranking Exam” administered by Near East University, which is among the top 500 universities in the world, for the 2026-2027 academic year, is just days away. It will be held on Saturday, May 23rd at 10:00 AM. Applications will close on Thursday, May 21st.

The exam, which will be held in a single session at the Near East University campus, is open to TRNC citizens and Turkish citizens who have completed the last four years of their high school education in the TRNC without interruption.

According to the exam results, candidates will have the opportunity to enroll in approximately 500 associate and bachelor’s degree programs across 21 faculties, 4 colleges, and 2 vocational schools within Near East University. Candidates will be able to choose from three different programs after the exam, and placements will be made according to their ranking. Furthermore, college graduates or students who have earned the right to graduate can also apply to Near East University programs with international exam results such as GCE A Level, GCE AS Level, IGCSE-GCSE O Level, SAT, and ACT.

Free Transportation Support!

To facilitate candidates’ transportation to the campus on the day of the exam, free bus services will be provided from various areas. In Nicosia, buses will depart from all stops at 07:15, 08:15, and 09:00. In addition; Shuttle services will depart from Kyrenia Terminal at 08:30, Famagusta Terminal at 08:30, İskele Terminal at 08:00, Güzelyurt Terminal at 08:30, and from the bus stop of the Lefke District Governor’s Office at 08:00.
