Stanford Certified: 18 Near East University Academics Among the World’s Most Influential Scientists!

18 Near East University academics have been named among the top 2% of the world’s most influential scientists by Stanford University. Near East University has become the university with the most academics on the list in the TRNC.

The results of the ranking, compiled by Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier, a leading science publisher, to determine the world’s most influential scientists, have been announced. According to the results of the research, 18 Near East University academics have been named among the top 2% of the world’s most influential scientists by Stanford University. With this result, Near East University has become the university with the most academics on the list in the TRNC. The list, which evaluates academics whose publications are included in the Elsevier database, is based on “career-long” and “last year” performance.

The list includes Prof. Dr. K. Hüsnü Can Başer, Prof. Dr. İhsan Çalış, Prof. Dr. Fadi Al-Turjman, Prof. Dr. Kamil Dimililer, Prof. Dr. Nadire Çavuş, Prof. Dr. Nesrin Hasırcı, Prof. Dr. Rahib Hidayat Abiyev, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aydin Hassani, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boran Şekeroğlu, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hijaz Ahmad, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İlker Özşahin, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Youssef Kassem, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Farman, Dr. Abraham Ayobamiji Awosusi, Dr. Humphrey Hugh Adun, Dr. Tomiwa Sunday Adebayo, Dr. Umar Saeed, and Dr. Yasir Waheed. Divided into 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields, the research involved Near East University academics in a wide range of fields, including Analytical Chemistry, Network and Telecommunications, Biomedical Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Education, Energy, Medicine, Chemical Engineering, Biomolecular Chemistry, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing, Industrial Engineering and Automation, Microbiology, Defense and Security Studies, Nuclear and Particle Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Plant Biology, and Botany.
