Six solo painting exhibitions consisting of 120 artworks exclusively made by Uzbekistan artists Sardor Allbergenov, Erkin Bozorov, İlhomjon Otanoyev, Urinboy Khamdamov, Alisher Khamdamow and Umarbek Rajaboy for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts will be opened by the National Education and Culture Minister Nazım Çavuşoğlu.

According to the press information provided by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, the solo exhibition of Uzbekistan artists will be opened on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at 08.30, at the exhibition hall of Near East University Hospital. The solo exhibitions will consist of 20 artworks of Uzbek artists Sardor Allbergenov, 20 artworks of Erkin Bozorov, 20 artworks of İlhomjon Otanoyev, 20 artworks of Urinboy Khamdamov, 20 artworks of Alisher Khamdamow and 20 artworks of Umarbek Rajaboy, in total 120 artworks will be exhibited at the exhibition hall of the Near East University Hospital.

Who is Sardor Allbergenov?
He was born on October 20, 1980, in Urgench. In 1996, he continued his education at the Restoration Department of Bekzod Art Institute. In 2003, he graduated from the same department. He has participated in exhibitions held in France, Germany, Kazakhstan and Russia. His works take place in collections in the US, Korea, Turkey, Japan and other countries. He still lives in Tashkent city.

Who is Erkin Bozorov?
He was born on December 16th in the Navoi district. In 2001, he graduated from art high school. Between 2001 and 2007, he studied at a language program and conducted his master’s degree at Bekzod Art Institute. Since 2017, he has been a member of Uzbekistan Academy of Art. He has been participating in regional, local and international exhibitions.

Who is İlhomjon Otanoyev?
He was born in 1978 in the city of Cizak. Between 1991-1995, he studied at the Andijan Art School. Between 1995-2000, he studied at Bekzod Institute of Art and graduated from here, and started an MA program at the same institute in 2002. In 2010, he received the ‘Artist of the Year’ award in the ‘TOP ART’ competition. Awarded with a Silver Medal from the Uzbekistan Academy of Arts, the artist participates in regional, local and international exhibitions.

Who is Urinboy Khamdamov?
He was born on February 18, 1986, in Fergana. In 2001, he graduated from art high school. He studied at Bankov College between 2003-2006. From 2006 to 201, he studied at the Bekzod Art Institute. He is a member of Uzbekistan Art Academy. He has been participating in regional, local and international exhibitions.

Who is Alisher Khamdamow?
He was born on October 24, 1986, in Fergana. Between 2002-2005, he studied at Bankov College. Between 2006-2010, he studied at the Bekzod Art Institute. Between 2013-2017, he taught at the Bekzod Art Institute. Since 2010 he has been a member of the Uzbekistan Academy of Arts. He has been participating in regional, local and international exhibitions.

Who is Umarbek Rajaboy?
He was born in 1985 in the Horezm region of Uzbekistan. After graduating from art school, he continued his education at Bekzod Art Institute between 2003-2007. In 2014, he graduated from the graduate program of the Department of Painting. He is a faculty member at Bekzod Institute of Art. He participates in regional, local and international exhibitions. His works take place in private collections in Russia, China, Turkey and other countries.
