Seminars on Ethical Values and Gender Roles in Educational Sciences attracted Interest

Within the scope of monthly seminars held by the Near East University Applied Linguistics Research Center (UDAM), two different seminars were held on "Ethical Research in Educational Sciences" and "Gender in Discourse and Teacher Training."

According to the press information released by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of Near East University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çise Çavuşoğlu held the seminar titled "Ethical Research in Educational Sciences" and lecturer Yağmur Raman Erkunt held the seminar titled "Gender in Discourse and Teacher Education”.

Academicians, undergraduate, graduate and PhD students showed great interest in the seminars.

Attention called to Ethical Values…
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çise Çavuşoğlu gave detailed information about research ethics and discussions raised on ethical issues as well as ethical applications and scientific studies with current examples in the seminar titled Ethical Research in Educational Sciences.


Gender Roles in Education discussed…
In the seminar titled Gender in Discourse and Teacher Training, which was held by lecturer Yağmur Raman Erkunt under the umbrella of UDAM, various terminologies related to gender, gender roles in culture and the importance of gender in discourse and in teacher education were shared with the participants through giving examples from scientific data.
