The “Scientific Research Projects Writing Course”, organized in cooperation with the Near East University DESAM Research Institute and NERITA and was open to all academicians at the TRNC universities, was held with intense participation at the Near East University Faculty of Health Sciences.

The course, which was held at a time when all TUBITAK project calls were expected to be opened to TRNC universities and researchers, was organized with the aim of transferring the TUBITAK Support Programs experience of DESAM Research Institute and NERITA to academicians at universities in the TRNC. In the Scientific Research Projects Writing Course, where BAP and TUBITAK project preparation processes were discussed, the topics “BAP Project Application Processes”, “TUBITAK Project Application Processes”, “Priority Areas” and “Anatomy of the Project” were discussed.

The course, moderated by Member of DESAM Research Institute and Member of the Advisory Board of TUBITAK Health Sciences Research Group Prof. Dr. Seda Vatansever, attracted great attention from academics. At the Scientific Research Projects Writing Course, where East University Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ made the opening speech, Head of Near East University Technology Transfer Office and TUBITAK R&D Support Group Executive Board Member Prof. Dr. Murat Özgören, Founding Member of the Near East University DESAM Research Institute and panelist and referee at TUBITAK Prof. Dr. Murat Sayan and Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Histology and Embryology, and TUBITAK Health Sciences Research Group Executive Board Member Prof. Dr. Gamze Tanrıöver answered the questions from the participants by providing important information about preparing effective BAP and TUBITAK Projects.
