Nicosia Ambassador Prof. Dr. Metin Feyzioğlu will give a conference on “Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean” on Friday, November 17, at 10.30, as part of the “Diplomacy and Foreign Policy Conferences”, a special event series of the Near East Institute. Prof. Dr. Metin Feyzioğlu will share his views on diplomatic and geopolitical processes centered on the Eastern Mediterranean and Cyprus with the participants.
The “Cyprus and Eastern Mediterranean” conference, which will be held at the İrfan Günsel Congress Center at the Near East University Faculty of Health Sciences, will be moderated by Near East Institute Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çıraklı. Following the conference, as part of the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey, the “Century of Diplomacy Photography Exhibition” prepared by the Nicosia Embassy will be presented to the participants.

Stating that they are happy to introduce Republic of Turkey Ambassador to Nicosia Prof. Dr. Feyzioğlu to students and academics, Near East Institute Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çıraklı emphasized that the event became much more meaningful because it took place in the period when the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey and the 40th anniversary of the TRNC are celebrated. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çıraklı stated that diplomatic and geopolitical processes of vital importance for the TRNC and the Republic of Turkey will be evaluated at the “Cyprus and Eastern Mediterranean” conference.
