The deadline for enrollment in the Occupational Health and Safety Expertise 2021 Certificate Program of Near East University approved by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security is May 31st.

2021 programs for the “Occupational Health and Safety Expertise” trainings, which were initiated by the Near East University last year, is continuing. Ministry of Labor and Social Security approved trainings, duties, powers, responsibilities, rights and obligations of employers and employees include health surveillance at workplaces, health and safety rules, and occupational health and safety management and organization. Those who complete the program will have the right to take the Occupational Health and Safety Expertise exam.

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) trainings to be given by Near East University, authorized and certified by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, will start on June 1, 2021. The trainings will be carried out face-to-face or online, if the decisions of the Contagious Diseases Supreme Council allow by taking all measures determined by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. Applications for the training program, which will start on June 1, will be accepted until the end of work on Monday, May 31, 2021.

“Occupational Health and Safety Training of Trainers” programs will be organized in four main subjects including “Basic Occupational Health and Safety Training”, “General Occupational Health and Safety Expertise Training”, “Construction Occupational Health and Safety Expertise Training”, as in 2020, will be given by the Near East University Institute of Occupational Health and Safety within the scope of Occupational Health and Safety trainings. Occupational Health and Safety Trainings, which include important issues such as creating healthy and safe working environments and risk assessments, will be carried out by the expert training staff of Near East University.
