Near East University's swimmers Doğukan Ulaç and Emre Ersoy have set new TRNC records at Turkcell Long Course Meters (LCM) Turkish National Team Selections.

Organized by the Turkish Swimming Federation in memory of Ümit Saka, Turkcell LCM Turkish National Team Selections started on 28th November in Istanbul and will last till 2 December 2018.

Near East University’s athletes have left their marks at Turkcell LCM Turkish National Team Selections by breaking TRNC records
The Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of Near East University released that Near East University was proud of the success of her athletes Doğukan Ulaç and Emre Ersoy who broke TRNC records at Turkcell LCM Turkish National Team Selections. It was stated that Doğukan Ulaç set new TRNC Record in 100m Freestyle with 00: 54.68 and Emre Ersoy set new TRNC 14-15-16 Age Record in 100m free-style with 00.57.53.

NEU's athlete Emre Ersoy will compete in 50 m Freestyle and 100m Backstroke on the 3rd day, 50m Backstroke on the 4th day and in 100m Butterfly on the 5th day of the competitions which will last five days. NEU’s other athlete; Doğukan Ulaç competed in 1500m Freestyle and 100m Freestyle (TRNC Record) on the 1st and 2nd days of the competitions. Ulaç will compete in 200m and 800m Freestyle on the 4th day and in 400m Freestyle on the 5th day of the competitions.
